Reckless Jacks are international. Divided in birthplace but united in sound, the four-piece range from Europe – from France, Italy, Switzerland and Sweden respectively – and met in London. In your face, Brexit.
Self-styled as "indie-pop rock", their music is emotive, smooth and feels familar, perhaps owing to their recent studio collaboration with Jim Lowe of Stereophonics, with whom they recorded their debut EP.
We caught them at the end of their European tour – promoting solidarity (presumably) from Paris’ Bus Palladium to Islington's O2 Academy – to discuss music preferences, rogue reviews and the authentic lilt to their Right Here, Right Now video. Oh, and bananas.
