What makes us individual? Do the ideas and styles we buy into define us? How do we continue to challenge stereotypes? These aren’t questions that the fashion industry always has an answer for.
Charlotte Manners’ short film, which promotes the All Walks philosophy of accepting and understanding a range of body and beauty ideals, provides a glimpse into the lives of three diverse individuals, confronting our preconceptions about identity.
Charlotte: “There are various parts of the fashion industry that are still lacking in diversity. My film aims to highlight that society should pay heed to the phrase ‘never judge a book by its cover’. It’s my hope that in the future everyone sees diversity as fundamental, an ideal.”
