During these busy days you could be forgiven for thinking that not much else exists for those attending London Fashion Week. Well, today is the last day… for this year at least. SS17 shows are nearly done! Leanne Hunt went looking for the real story and the real experience for those who took part.
The reason people feel free to dismiss fashion with a “what’s the point” in a way that no one ever would about sport, or theatre, or film, or Apple product launches, is because fashion is aimed at women. Thus, it is, apparently, totally legitimate to dismiss it as frivolous. Silly little ladies and their lady things! Not important like kicking a ball, you see.
A whole host of famous faces, including supermodel Cara Delevingne, style icon Alexa Chung, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour showed up to see the brand’s spring/summer 2017 collection on Monday 19 September.

Little else exudes cool and composure like a catwalk model strutting steely-eyed down the runway. In that moment it’s almost unbelievable that they were just seconds ago at the centre of a backstage hubbub: being poked and prodded by a flurry of stylists and make-up artists as photographers snapped away.
