Introducing The Public Prime Minister: people from the street giving their take on the election by stepping in front of a lens and sharing their political policies with the world. May 7th is the most important date in the 2015 calendar. One day that will change everything and shape our lives for the next five years. An original, stand out piece of work is necessary. The Public Prime Minister is a project that throws into question the identity and purpose of today’s politicians by putting the focus on society instead. Working with celebrated portrait photographer, Dirk Rees, our invitation is extended to society at large.

For a brief moment, you are the Prime Minister, and whatever you want to make as a policy - goes. Public Prime Ministers to date include, The Milk Man, A Reverend, A Street Cleaner and even some Guinea Pigs from Hackney City Farm. Policies very from the topical, to the noble towards the little bit mad. From leaving the EU and legalising soft drugs through to bringing back the shell suit (but this time making it flame retardant.) If you want to be a Public Prime Minister we will be holding a photoshoot on the 28th April between 2pm and 8pm at KK Outlet, 42 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6PB. The show is from April 27th, with an official opening on polling night, May 7th. So that in addition to voting for the leadership of our country, visitors can pledge their vote for The Public Prime Minister.
